Mexico City, Mexico, January 31, 2008 – Baker & McKenzie acted for U.S.-based licensed cellular carrier Jasper Wireless Inc. in obtaining a series of favorable rulings from the Mexican Telecommunications Commission, clarifying the use of the world’s only machine-to-machine (M2M) exclusive wireless data services by Jasper’s roaming users in Mexico.

The Firm also advised Jasper on its landmark M2M data roaming agreement with Telcel, Mexico’s largest wireless telephony network. The deal allows Jasper’s customers worldwide to access M2M services in Mexico.
