·                     Represented CEO of largest consumer diabetes and home health products retailer in United States in connection with investigation of Medicare coding and billing practices. 

·                     Represented ten witnesses and two subjects in healthcare fraud prosecution alleging that Alvarado Hospital bribed doctors to admit patients with relocation agreements.

·                     Defended Via Christi Health System, Inc. against charges of monopolization by predatory pricing.  Coventry Health Care of Kansas, Inc. v. Via Christi Health Systems, Inc. 

·                     Defended South Florida hospital and principal in connection with alleged Medicare fraud violations.

·                     Represented former employee of physician and medical practice implicated in wide-ranging scheme to market prescription products without medical necessity.

·                     Represented executive in connection with alleged kickback violations arising from the payment of market development funds by manufacturer.

·                     Represented supplier of medical supplies suspected of involvement in the distribution of goods alleged to have been inappropriately obtained from manufacturer representatives.

·                     Represented several individuals in defense of government action involving alleged violations of Medicare regulation pertaining to the operation of a community treatment center.

·                     Investigated practices related to the sales of pharmaceuticals by Russian subsidiaries of a U.S. pharmaceutical company.

·                     Represented nursing home company in investigation by Department of Justice and State Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of potential violations of the civil Federal False Claims Act related to quality of care in nursing facility.

·                     Represented individual in investigation by the United States Attorneys Offices in two jurisdictions and the DOJ for potential violations of the civil Federal False Claims Act under the Medicaid program related to services allegedly provided in an Institution for Mental Diseases.

·                     Defended the former CEO and former Chairman of publicly held healthcare management company during SEC enforcement proceedings and also class actions alleging improper revenue recognition.
