The North American Antitrust and Competition Group is an integral part of Baker & McKenzie’s Global Antitrust & Competition Group, one of the largest antitrust practice groups in the world, with over 260 lawyers who focus on all aspects of antitrust and competition law.
We have a proven track-record of achieving results for clients on complex cross-border transactions and major international cartel investigations as well as assisting in day-to-day antitrust matters. The North American Antitrust and Competition Group includes a former Commissioner of the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), a recent past Chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Antitrust Section, a co-chair of the ABA Antitrust Section’s Trial Practice Committee, an officer of the ABA International Section, an experienced former trial attorney in the Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice (DOJ), and leading white-collar criminal defense attorneys who have represented companies and individuals in several of the most prominent criminal antitrust cases in the past decade.
We also act in close cooperation with our antitrust and competition specialists in Europe, Latin America, and the Asia Pacific region, giving Baker & McKenzie a unique presence in every major antitrust and competition jurisdiction around the world and the ability to coordinate strategies and work product efficiently and effectively.
