Student Intern Program
The goal of our student intern program is to provide professional and practical training, and employment opportunities to outstanding undergraduate, recent graduate, or graduate students. The program is structured to offer each intern an opportunity to gain valuable and diverse scope of experience by working with two mentors (Senior Lawyers). By the end of the program, our interns gain practical legal knowledge, confidence and experience to prepare them for a career in a global law firm.
Internships for undergraduates are part-time (20 hours per week) for a fixed term of six months employment with possible extensions—and prospects for hires—based on performance reviews.
We also offer opportunities for expatriate law students with Russian language skills and interests to work in the Moscow office. Our summer internship program provides this group of students with 8 - 12 months of practical experience working in the CIS with Senior Baker & McKenzie lawyers. The deadline for applications for the summer student program is 18 February.
Regular Evaluations and Feedback
To continue to offer the highest standard of service, we pay great attention to our Client -> Lawyer -> Intern communication flow and encourage daily feedback on work assignments and professional development programs. Further, at the end of each contract period, a formal assessment is carried out and both the intern and the partner have an opportunity to evaluate each other.

We understand the value of organic growth and are 100% committed to the development of our attorneys; thus, we coordinate a wide variety of training and professional development programs locally, regionally and globally.
