Telecommunications

The office has been very active in the telecommunications industry since partial liberalisation of the Singapore telecommunications market started in 1997. The practice consists primarily of advising both international carriers and new entrants on all issues associated with their entry into and participation in the Singapore market. This has included advising on regulatory requirements, license applications, acting on acquisitions and joint ventures and advising on the construction and landing of new submarine cable networks. It has also advised and acted for many internet content and service providers on various telecommunications related regulatory issues.
